Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Drive
Look for the Big 5 in Africa’s oldest proclaimed game reserve, once the royal hunting ground of King Shaka.
Hluhluwe-iMfolozi is the only state-run park in KwaZulu-Natal with all of the Big 5, and famous for its white and black rhino. Your guide reads the tracks and knows the waterholes.
What you will do
- Search for lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino
- Drive through hills and river valleys of the reserve
- Learn how the park saved the white rhino
- Gate fees and a meal are included
Good to know
Full-day tours leave early in the morning, when animals are most active. Bring binoculars, a warm layer and sunscreen.
